- blue badges help disabled people with severe mobility problems to access goods and services by allowing them to park close to their destination. Even if someone no longer drives, they can obtain a blue badge to use if a family member, friend, neighbour or volunteer drives them to access services or shops
- the warm and well website in North Yorkshire offers practical solutions to reduce fuel poverty and supports people to stay warm and well in their homes
- many people are entitled to a pension top up, even if they have a private pension and savings, more information is available on the pension credit eligibility checker on the government website
- online home fire safety check on the Safelincs website
