About the Cash for Causes grant fund
Eastfield Cash for Causes offers grant funding to groups needing financial support to help deliver activities within Eastfield. There is no upper limit to the size of grants awarded and a smaller micro grants scheme is available for smaller or informal groups who have an idea they wish to try out in their community. Cash for Causes is designed to support as wide a variety of projects as possible and is open to applications from charities, community groups and voluntary organisations and private businesses where they can demonstrate the project will be delivered solely for community benefit.
Who can apply?
Voluntary groups, community organisations and businesses that are for community benefit.
Eligible projects
Your project should:
- address one or more of our five key themes
- benefit Eastfield residents
- have a community focus
- be open and inclusive to all
How much money can you apply for?
There is no upper or lower limit but you must be able to demonstrate value for money and your application must provide information about what you will use the money for.
Closing date
The fund is expected to run throughout the year. You can apply at any time and as many times as you like. However, please note we are looking to provide support to as many different groups as possible, so the possibility of getting repeat funding will be lower. If you apply and the entire fund for the year has already been used up, you may be asked to submit your application in the subsequent year.
What happens if you are successful?
If your application is successful, we will let you know in writing.
