Ingleton cemetery is located at Clapham Old Road, Ingleton, Lancashire, LA6 3JN about 1 mile outside of the village of Ingleton.
About Ingleton Cemetery
Ingleton cemetery opened in 1882 and is a very small rural cemetery with breathtaking views across the local countryside. There is a very small and quaint chapel situated in the heart of the cemetery, however, due to its age it is no longer available for burial services.
Parking
Due to the small rural nature and size of the cemetery, car parking is limited to the country lane the cemetery is located on.
Burials
Burials take place Monday to Friday from midday with the last at 3pm (2pm during winter months).
Staff members will ensure that the grave is maintained after the interment and the funeral flowers are left neatly on the top of the grave.
Regular checks around the cemetery grounds ensure that perished flowers are removed and the grave kept tidy.
Purchasing a Grave
If you wish to purchase a grave or would like to look around the cemetery, a member of the team can meet you at the cemetery to discuss the various options that are available, please contact us to make an appointment.
The exclusive rights of burial in Ingleton can be purchased for a period of 30 or 60 years, with an interment fee payable at the time of use.
Our graves in Ingleton Cemetery are typically earth graves for up to 2 coffins. The grave can also accommodate up to eight sets of cremated remains. Once cremated remains have been interred it will close off the grave to future full burials.
Memorials
At Ingleton Cemetery we encourage unique and individual memorials to suit your loved ones. We have a range of monumental masons who are registered with us, who have a variety of designs and different stones to choose from. For safety purposes we only allow memorial work to be carried out by monumental masons who are included in our approved register.

Waltonwrays Cemetery is at Carleton Road, Skipton, BD23 3BT.
About Waltonwrays Cemetery
Waltonwrays Cemetery covers 11 hectares of land and was opened with its first burial on 5 February 1877. It incorporates Skipton Crematorium, the book of remembrance chapel and gardens of remembrances.
The cemetery is open 365 days a year and our staff are located within the offices attached to the crematorium chapel.
Parking
Parking is available in front of the remembrance chapel. The main drive is wide enough for cars to park down one side and there is also parking as you enter the main gates of the cemetery on the right and left. Overflow parking is available on Carleton Road.
There are disabled parking bays available in the front of the remembrance chapel.
Burials
Burials take place Monday to Friday from 9:10am with the last at 3pm (2pm during winter months).
You can have a full funeral service in the crematorium Chapel, or you can have the main service in a church or other venue and have a short committal at the grave side. You can find more information about the chapel facilities, including webcasts and tributes, on our Skipton Crematorium page.
