Frequently asked questions about the change to Active North Yorkshire

Thank you for being patient with us during the move from IHL to Active North Yorkshire, our new sport and active wellbeing service.

General information

Will I be able to visit Selby and Tadcaster Leisure and Wellbeing Hubs as normal from 1 September?

Due to the change in operator, both Selby and Tadcaster facilities will close for the day on 1 September. Selby Leisure and Wellbeing Centre will reopen at 6:30am on Monday 2 September and Tadcaster Leisure and Wellbeing Hub at 7am on Monday 2 September. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Will there be any disruption to service?

As with any major change, a certain level of disruption can be expected. We are working behind the scenes to ensure any disruption is kept to an absolute minimum. We aim to have the pools and gym open and functional from 2 September. We will keep you updated frequently.

Class bookings – there may be a cross over period while we change operators that means the advanced booking system is temporarily paused. We will ensure we keep disruption to a minimum and update you once the system is up and running again.
