The Liberal Democrat party candidate, Andrew Timothy, has become the new member for the Stray, Woodlands and Hookstone Division.
He took 43.8 per cent of the votes in yesterday’s by-election (Thursday, 11 April). There was a turnout of 41 per cent.
The result was:
- Gillian Charters, Green Party: 376 votes.
- John Ennis, Conservative Party: 768 votes.
- Geoffrey Foxall, Labour Party: 116 votes.
- Jonathan Swales, Reform UK Party: 141 votes.
- Andrew Timothy, Liberal Democrats: 1,094 votes.
The election was held following the resignation of the former councillor.
