We make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in North Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire is a thriving county that adapts to a changing world and remains a special place to live and work. With this in mind, we are recruiting across the county for children's social care roles, whatever stage you are at in your career.

We have a national reputation for excellence and we are keen to stay at the cutting edge of innovative childcare practice. We are looking for a range of social care practitioners, including social workers at all levels to join us. We would also welcome those who are looking to relocate to the area.

At North Yorkshire Council, we continue to invest in and support all practitioners during their career with us. This includes a range of advanced training to support our defined practice model.

In North Yorkshire, we want children, young people and their families to live happier and safe lives ensuring they have positive life chances and choices, to help them reach their full potential. In order to do this, we are looking for creative, adaptable and innovative social workers and social care practitioners to work for us.

North Yorkshire is a beautiful part of the country, this means when you are not at work, you have time for the things that really matter to you. Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time role, we encourage you to apply. Please feel free to contact us for a discussion about the roles and work with us before submitting your application form.
