 About the role:
 

 

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a
full time Business Support Administrator to support Nidderdale Children’s
Resource Centre with the day to day administration of the centre which provides
support and respite care for children and young people with learning
disabilities.  The post is offered on an established
contract, working core hours Monday - Thursday 08:30 – 17:00, Friday 08:30 –
16:30.
 

 

About you:

 


This is a challenging, yet varied and rewarding position. The day-to-day core
focus is to provide administrative support to assist with coordinating the
services provided by the centre including preparation of booking letters for activities,
completing routine petty cash, Barclay card and bed returns, ordering of goods
and services, being first point of contact for enquiries front of house and
over the telephone and to support the registered manager with regulated
performance reporting. Confidentiality when dealing with written and spoken
communication is essential as you will be dealing with sensitive information
and you are required to have good communication skills, experience of ICT packages,
strong organisational skills and will be working both independently and as part
of a team.

 


A knowledge of Data Protection, Equalities and Health
and Safety requirements for working within an office environment is desirable,
however full training with be given.
