Parent Carer Voice
Parent Carer Voice aims to inform, empower and represent the collective voice of families with children and young people with SEND across North Yorkshire. They provide support from other parent carers, useful information and links, events and training to help your journey through the SEND services and beyond.

Originally a service provider within the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale area, we changed our name to Carers Plus Yorkshire Ltd in July 2021 - this change happened as we extended our support into the East Riding, Hambleton and Richmondshire. Now with a wider footprint, we are delighted to be supporting more communities and individuals across a significant geographical area.

Parents and Carers of Special Children (POSCH)
POSCH is a small charity supporting parents and families of children with additional and special needs who live in the Hambleton, Richmondshire and surrounding areas. They promote parent to parent support, provide a safe and confidential space for parents to chat and offer signposting to other key agencies in the area.

Carers’ Resource is an independent, award-winning Yorkshire charity which is open to everyone and offers emotional and practical help to enable unpaid carers to cope. They provide information, advice, and support to carers, to the people they care for and to professionals who work with them.
