Textiles and clothing

Clothing, shoes, bed linen, curtains and cushion covers can all be accepted for recycling. Duvets, quilts and pillows cannot be recycled and need to be placed in the waste for energy recovery skip.

Some animal charities accept old duvets for bedding; contact your local rescue centre for more information. Local charity shops, reuse organisations and reuse websites are great places to donate unwanted items.
