Community based support and day centres

We work with providers who offer a range of day services and activities for those who need support to find work, socialise with others and take part in leisure activities.

Community based support - day activities

There is a lot of local support available. We work with a number of independent providers who offer a range of day activities in their centres for people who have higher dependency needs. Support offered includes:

  • employment support programmes
  • social and learning activities such as gardening, cookery, arts and crafts, fitness
  • tailored support for specific needs

Take a look at our care services directory to view a full list of the day services that are available.

Request help and support

To be eligible for this support, you will first need to have a social care needs assessment.

Visit our get help and support with adult social care page for information about getting your needs assessed.

Waiting for an assessment

We are experiencing high levels of demand, which means we may not be able to arrange an assessment as quickly as we would like. If you have contacted us and are waiting for a response, please be assured that we have received your information and will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
