Christmas opening hours

The centre will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. On other days it will be open as normal apart from:

  • Christmas Eve - 7am to 2pm
  • 27 to 30 December - 7am to 4pm
  • New Year's Eve - 7am to 2pm

Due to a swimming gala taking place there will be no swimming or sauna available on 4 and 5 January. The car park may also be busier than normal. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Harrogate Leisure and Wellbeing Hub opening times

The centre is open seven days a week.

Swimming pool opening times

  • Monday to Thursday - 6:30am until 9pm
  • Friday - 6:30am until 8pm
  • Saturday and Sunday - 6:30am until 6:30pm

Gym opening times

  • Monday to Thursday 6:15am until 9:30pm
  • Friday 6:15am until 7:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 6:15am until 6:30pm

Sauna and steam experience opening times

  • Monday to Friday 7:30am until 8:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 7:30am until 5:30pm

Bank holiday opening times

The centre is also open on all bank holidays except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day although opening hours may vary.

Access for customers with mobility impairments

  • level access from the car park
  • changing place facility
  • two accessible changing rooms with a shower
  • additional accessible toilets (left and right-hand transfer)
  • level access to pool changing
  • low-level reception counter
  • Poolpod or ladder access to main and activity pools, shallow steps to teaching pool. Further details on Poolpods can be found on the Cotenda website
  • larger lockers for crutches or walking sticks
  • sensor taps and toilets
  • automatic entrance doors
  • chairs in reception
  • staff will assist where required with access gates
  • blue badge parking bays with electric hook-up if required
  • lift to the first floor for gym, studio and spectator access
  • the gym has a range of machines that can be adapted to individual needs

We ask customers to remove their shoes before entering the changing village. But if this affects your balance and stability, please leave them on.

Information for customers who have autism or sensory difficulties

  • reception can be busy with queueing during peak periods
  • the pool hall can be a little noisy during busy periods
  • lifeguards use whistles to attract people's attention
  • if we plan to test the fire alarm, an announcement will be made beforehand
