Child Trust Fund reminder
Did you know there are hundreds of thousands of Child Trust Fund accounts that haven’t been claimed? A Child Trust Fund is a long-term tax-free savings account for children born between 1 September 2002 and 2 January 2011 when the scheme closed. The government made initial deposits into these accounts, which mature when the individual turns 18 and can then be claimed.
